Sweet Victory

Sayonara, sugar demon!

We know too much sugar isn’t good for the body, but that doesn’t always stop us. ‘We’ll just have one more cookie, then that’s it’ we say… no more! And even as we say it, we’re not entirely convinced.

So when the creators of a crazy-innovative chewing gum designed to help curb sugar cravings asked us to rebrand their product, we weren’t just intrigued. We were blown away but what it could do. A little gum like theirs taking on a big habit? We were in.

Taking back control

We knew another lecture about sugar wasn’t the answer. People wanted to cut back. What they needed was help taking back control. That became the heart of our brand strategy: give sugar cravings a face, the Sugar Demon, and give people something to fight back with. An everyday struggle became a brand story with an enemy, an ally and a victory worth working toward.

A name that packs a punch

In keeping with the idea of a battle successfully waged, we came up with the name Sweet Victory, that both we and our client loved. Two words captured what people were hoping to achieve. We carried that spirit into a bold logo, visual identity and packaging designed to catch the eye on a crowded shelf. Confident. Unapologetic. Sassy.

The fight goes online

The website gave the story room to unfold. We brought together the product, the people behind it and the idea of taking back control, using the same in-your-face design and straight-talking copy. From a first look on a phone to a closer read on a desktop, it was unmistakably Sweet Victory.

Personality, by the bagful.

A name like Sweet Victory deserves to get out a little. Across bags, mugs and business cards, the logo and colors gave the brand a presence beyond the pack. Different objects with same confident personality. Even the smallest introduction could make a sticky impression. Pun intended.

More victories to celebrate

Since our work together, Sweet Victory has kept moving forward. They've evolved their brand look and feel and the company has won recognition for product innovation at Vitafoods Europe in 2023, and a pilot study of its gum was published in Diabetes Epidemiology and Management in 2026.

It’s so gratifying to see the team continue developing the idea we helped name and bring to life. We gave their fight a brand. They’re still taking it on.
