Ten years later, a film for Bill.
Ten years later, Eitan created an animated tribute to Bill in partnership with Birdo in Brazil.
The project was part of an initiative by Aniboom and Gideon Amichay called “9/11. It’s Been Ten Years.” Eitan’s contribution began with the person he’d known and the conversations they’d had, a friendship that had existed before Bill’s name became part of that terrible day. This special piece gave him a way to share that memory with Bill’s family and with people who had never had the chance to meet him.

Forever remembered
The film is for Bill’s family, for everyone who lost someone that day, and for the rest of us who need to remember what was taken. Every name belonged to a person with a life, relationships and a place in someone else’s world.
He’ll always be a friend
Bill’s place in Eitan’s life had been brief, but that didn’t make the friendship any less real or the loss any less lasting. To this day, Eitan is grateful to have gotten to know him and he’ll always consider him a friend.
