Experts at building other companies, they invested in their own.

Our work brought together brand strategy, their manifesto and tagline, a name evolution, logo and visual identity, and a new website. A clear introduction to the next chapter, with the name’s history still part of it.

Assessing their own situation every bit as clearly as they evaluated a startup’s, they realized this was no mere surface-level re-skin, but a reinvention that would go to the very heart and soul of their company. They understood something else as well: the values they had built their VC firm on were fundamental. These values were their soul, and that did not have to change – indeed, it couldn’t.

First to change was their name

Renaming a company as well-known as Elron poses a very interesting challenge: how do you keep the tremendous equity the name carries while still signaling the start of something new?

For Elron and their partners at Rafael Development Corp. (RDC), the solution was to become Elron Ventures. “Elron” acknowledged their incredible heritage, while “Ventures” looked to the future with a rolling-up-our-sleeves spirit.

Traditional and modern aren't mutually exclusive

Then we designed a new logo combining the gravitas of Elron with its new way of working. The new Elron Ventures operates with the agility and nimbleness today’s tech world demands, and they focus on areas that are especially rich with opportunity: cyber, enterprise software, and medical devices.

Working at the speed of tech

We delivered a new website to introduce Elron Ventures, its approach and its portfolio. The structure, imagery, copy and design brought the new brand into one place. The company had plenty of history to draw on. The site needed to show where it was heading.
