The Mybitat brand is just like home.
There’s a new start-up in town (in Tel Aviv, that is) fanatically committed to improving how people age at home. When they approached us for branding work, they wanted something unexpected – a contemporary, warm and inviting visual identity that still felt vibrant, lively and vital. Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity.
It all came together in the Mybitat logo. It uses colors not typically associated with healthcare to create a warm, contemporary vibe, and it applies the colors so as to emphasize independence – “This is MY habitat.” The lowercase, typewriter-esque letters are friendly and approachable without being too light or unserious. And the charming heart graphic simultaneously calls to mind a medical monitor and the warmth and love of home.
Their brand reflects their mission: Helping people age safely and independently at home.
The pre-launch teaser website that we designed, wrote and developed is aimed at attracting qualified investors as well as partners and team members as they grow. Mybitat’s goal is to make it easier, safer, less worrisome and more satisfying for people to age at home, and they’re going to use the Internet of Things to do it.
Their mission is an admirable one, and we are honored and proud to join them at the intersection of technology and societal need.
