Irene is like our resident Lisbeth Salander, and that’s not fiction.
Born and raised on a small island in the gulf of Naples, she loved putting puzzles together as a child. Drawing and creating and refining her skills, she progressed all the way to the beautiful murals she painted on her living room walls at age five. None of that enthusiasm waned, and today she applies that same passion to designing web pages and writing html code, all of which she started doing at fifteen.
Irene attended art school in Naples, where she studied architecture and interior design. Later, she went on to study graphic design and web design at one of Italy’s top communications institutes and graduated with honors. To top off her education, Irene also studied php programming and followed that up with a job as a developer at a communications agency.
Don’t ask us why, but Irene loves all things Scandinavian – the cold, the music (Norwegian black metal) and literature in the form of Norse mythology. When she isn’t programming, you might find her reading comics or playing video games. And dreams? Yeah, she’s got a few. One of them is traveling to view the northern lights at their highest point. Rest assured that there’ll be a website up about that as soon as it happens.
