Imminent had a mission: to change the world of cause marketing.
Imminent is changing the world of cause marketing. And in doing so, they’re managing to change the wider world, too. With so many brands trying to further social causes and so many non-profits looking to partner with national or global brands to amplify their voice, Imminent saw an opportunity to be a bridge between different kinds of organizations trying to make a difference.
But why Imminent? What makes them different?
It all comes down to an approach we developed for them called naked cause marketing. Naked because nothing is hidden.
Everything – spending, audiences, and especially results – is right there for clients to see. Because as far as Imminent is concerned, the entire field of cause marketing was a little too lacking in rigor.
Marketing campaigns would be developed based more on a wing and a prayer than on measurable results. Significant amounts of money were being spent, but to what end was a little unclear. So they set out to bring all the discipline and analytics of digital marketing to a field that badly needs them.
And they succeeded in developing campaigns that worked – that made a measurable difference.
A better way to make the world a better place.
Like so many companies, though, they needed help articulating telling their own story.
They were too close to it to capture their own passion for their mission. So they called us. We created their brand strategy and crafted their brand DNA to reflect their core promise, their values and their personality. We rewrote all the copy on the newest version of their website. (Alas, we did not design the site.) And we wrote a manifesto and tagline to tell the word what they’re all about.
